Maryland Recycled Concrete Aggregates

At Laney Recycling and Aggregates, we produce high-quality recycled concrete aggregates by breaking down concrete, removing any embedded items and crushing concrete into pieces of the desired size. We take special care to prevent contamination with soil, grass, plaster and other construction materials by using top-of-the-line demolition, screening and crushing equipment. The resulting recycled aggregate comes in the following 4 basic sizes. All materials are subject to availability.

RC-6 Recycled Concrete

Size: 1 ½” Max

RC6

RC-6 can be used as a sub-base for parking lots and roadways, residential driveways, walkways and select back-fill.

RC-2 Recycled Concrete

Size: 1 ½” to 2 ½”

RC2

RC-2 is frequently used for construction entrances, drainage and erosion control, stabilization of wet areas, under-cutting, etc.

RC-57 Recycled Concrete

Size ¾”

RC57

RC-57 is used primarily as a subgrade for concrete slabs, base material for driveways, or erosion prevention fill.

Recycled Concrete Aggregate Applications

Hardened concrete has characteristics similar to that of natural stone, which makes it suitable for most construction projects virgin aggregates are used for. Often, concrete can be taken from a project, and then recycled and re-used in the same project. The types of projects recycled aggregates are frequently used in include but are not limited to:
